Future Implications

Recognising the Priest Judge Pharisee Discrepancy

We should re-establish the authority of the Priests and Judges as soon as possible, so as to follow the Torah.

The quicker we recognise and accept that the replacement of Priests by the Pharisees was a mistake that needs to be put right, the better!

From Democracy to Torah in Israel

Although the Jews gained possession of (parts of) Israel in 1948, they did not finish the process and make Israel a country based on Torah. Instead, they established a secular democracy.

Deuteronomy 31:20

When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors, and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods and worship them, rejecting me and breaking my Covenant.

If you do not obey Yehova and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you ..You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

What Should Torah in Israel Look Like?

It is not possible to establish Israel without the Torah; the Torah is the basis of the land of Israel. There is no right to establish a democracy in 'secular Israel'. 'Secular democratic Israel' does not exist.

There should be at least some part of the land that is 100% dedicated to Torah Law.

The Torah prescribes a social ecosystem with governance and participants: the system of governance with the officials described in Torah; carrying out the duties and functions described in Torah; with willing participants living their lives according to the principles of Torah within an agreed geographical space in the land and relying on the legal governance system of the Torah officials.

Ending the Conflict Based on Democracy

Non-Jewish people are allowed to live in Israel as long as the law of the land is Torah Law for everyone.

Exodus 12:49

The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.

Leviticus 24:22

One law shall you have for the stranger and the native. Because I am Yehova God.

Genesis 17:4

Abraham will be the father of many nations.

See also Genesis 12:7, Genesis 13:15, Genesis 15:18.

Genesis 17:8

And I give to you (Abram) and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger; all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession and I will be their God.

Genesis 35:21

And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, I give to you (Jacob) and your descendants after you.

Exodus 33:1

The land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying 'to your descendants I give this land'.

The Torah's Boundaries of Israel

The Torah demarcates the boundaries of Israel as wider than the country currently recognised today. For example, Genesis 15:18 describes it as extending from, "the brook of Egypt to the Euphrates river". These boundaries encompass parts of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait and Egypt (Africa) (see also Exodus 23:31, Deuteronomy 11:24Deuteronomy 1:7, Numbers 34:1-15).

As such, Abraham's descendants are in fact already living in parts of Israel.

Torah Law for All in Israel

The issue cannot therefore be 'keeping people out because of democracy'. The issue must be making sure the legal system of Israel always remains Torah. A Torah-based system only comes from following the Torah in Israel.

These passages fit together when we understand that a land based on Torah Law can include all descendants of Abraham (Genesis 17:8), as well as foreigners (Exodus 12:49).
